Coming-of-Age Game ‘To a T’ Follows the Journey of a T-Posing Teenager

In the game called “In to a T,” players are tasked with controlling a teenage character who is unable to lower their arms from a T-shaped position. This character, known as Teen, explores a typical seaside town with their faithful dog, while also facing off against bullies and uncovering the advantages of their distinctive posture. The game’s trailer suggests that the ability to fly may be a significant advantage of having T-shaped arms.

The game is an episodic 3D adventure with a rounded cartoon art style familiar to anyone who has played Katamari Damacy, Wattami, or other titles by creator Keita Takahashi. to a T comes from Takahashi’s studio Uvula, who recently released one of Playdate’s coolest little games, Crankin’s Time Travel Adventure.

There is no release date or confirmed platforms for T, although Uvula started teasing it back in 2022 and it will be published by Annapurna Interactive. The project is created in collaboration with AbleGamers, a non-profit organization that promotes people with disabilities in the video game market and leads software and hardware development. AbleGamers collaborated with Xbox when it designed the Adaptive Controller, and offered Sony input on the Access Controller, the studio’s upcoming game controller focused on accessibility.
